Day 2

Gosh, it's hard work keeping a blog isn't it? This is why my personal blog only gets updated once in a blue moon. LOL.

Well thank you ladies for your comments so far. It's nice to see some names I don't recognise there. How about some of you drop by the AllyScraps Forum and introduce yourselves? You'll be surprised to see that there is a bunch of very friendly people hanging out.

The second day then. How about focussing on you? We've been running a little Book of Me challenge. We set a prompt every other week (or fortnightly if you're English). We have a whole bunch of people who provide some inspiration for the prompt. It is a great way to try something different and get your BOM going.

The story so far; we're up to prompt 10 already. This was set by Susan. What would you write in a letter to your younger self? WOW, that was thought provoking. I for one could have written a book!

Here was my take on this.

I needed to include my journalling in a letter so I folded it up really small and tucked it in with the embellishments.

How exciting will it be in 20 years time to open it up and read it!

There are loads of shining examples to be found in the forum here. Or why not pop in on the gallery to see even more?

If you want to find out what the previous prompts are - take a look here.

So, there will be more tomorrow. I'll see if I can persuade someone to help me out with some inspiration. In the meantime. Don't forget to leave your comment for a chance at my RAK or drop by the forum to find some new friends.

Happy Scrapping!

What an inspiring idea. May be difficult though in being honest with yourself. Love the layouts especially the hidden aspects.

The aged look of this lo is perfect. I haven't quite mastered this look yet. Somewhat intimidating for me. Really like the journaling idea!

I love the letter on your layout! I'd love to do that on a layout for my two girls. Just a letter with how I feel about them now and what kind of kids they are now. Great idea! Thank you for the inspiration!
