Raechelle Bellus is one of our talented guest designers this month. She has come up with a fabulous project reusing packaging. She has kindly writtern a tutorial.

Using an empty package or container is a perfect way to recylce and create something useful at the same time. You can use any size or shape to create a cute candy container perfect for any occasion.

1. Cut base paper to fit around package; adhere.

2. Cut two coordinating paper strips, one skinny for the top portion and one larger for the bottom portion.

3. Add scallops to the bottom strip and wrap around package along the bottom edge of base paper.

4. Adhere top paper strip around top edge of base paper.

5. Cut sentiment out of paper (or any design) and place on a cardstock mat cut a bit larger for added visual interest; adhere to base paper.

6. Wrap ribbon around area along bottom where the two papers meet. tie off with a bow.

7. Add a bow to the top of package.

8. On the backside adhere a "to" and "from" tag.

9. Fill with candy.

Supplies:

plastic packaging;
patterned paper: Bo Bunny Flirty Birds, Flirty Collection Stripe and Fancy Pants Designs

I hope you will join us and make the most out of all your supplies!

Bo Bonny Sweetie Pie & Splendid from Fancy Pants

It's hard to believe that Spring is only around the corner. With the weather being so dreary, wouldn't it be nice to add a little sunshine to your life?

Cathy has really excelled herself with her selection of gorgeous products.

Let's start with classic Jenni Bowlin. I love these Calendar Cards.

Or how about Sweetie Pie from Bo Bunny? Those colours are just so gorgeous.

This range would also work perfectly together with Fancy Pants Splendid. Mix and match for that true designer look!

There are more new products to share later this week. Remember shipping is still only $4.95 to anywhere in the United States and we are also happy to ship internationally.

Why not drop into the forum and join in with the fun and games?

Who's up for BINGO?

Scrappy BINGO, that is! Here's a challenge for you to get those creative juices going. Using the BINGO card below, create a layout that gives you a BINGO - any line of 5 squares, horizontally, vertically or diagonally. That's it! And be sure to come to the forum and link up your page here, in the challenge thread!

Here is my page, "taking a spin", featuring some awesome October Afternoon Night Light - I love this line! My BINGO is in the first vertical column.

So, what's your BINGO going to be? I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Purrrfect Projects

We like to keep you on your toes on the AllyScraps forum. As promised, I am starting a new forum creating projects.

Now I know that there may be one or two of you out there that have a little stockpile of supplies! The idea is to get the most out of your supplies by using them on projects that are not scrapbook pages.

Just to keep you on your toes, I'll be setting a theme each time. We're kicking off with Organisation. I have started with a wall organiser, clipboard and diary (because I got carried away).

This organiser is very simple to make and can be done in about an hour (although it does take longer if you want some fancy decorations!

I have made some class instructions - you can find details of how to get them on my post on the forum.

I'll leave you with a sneaky peak of the clipboard - you can see more of it and details of the rest of the challenge here.

So why not pop along to the AllyScraps forum and see what we have been cooking up?

Happy New Year!

A little belated, I know, but better late than never!

We hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Everything is slowly returning back to normal.

As we say goodbye and thank you to Kary and Trish, we have launched an exciting contest in search of new members for our Design Team. You check out the full details on our forum here. We'd love to hear from you and see your wonderful projects.

I will also be starting a new forum this Friday which will run every two weeks. We'll be dusting off our supplies and using them outside of our albums. I hope you'll join me then. I'll leave you with a sneak peak of what is to come.

If you are looking for something to challenge you in the meantime, check out Debbie's Bingo Challenge.

Meet me back here on Friday!
